Okay so anybody that knows me knows my love of the snes console and furthermore my love of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. It’s one of those games for me that brings back fond childhood memories [as well as those from playing it only the other day]. So, today I find that they have digitalized Turtles in Time and given it a dose of 3d for its release on the Xbox 360.

Being an avid fan of the original, I’m not sure if this will be like a poor sequel to an awesome movie, but I am going to remain optimistic until I can play this first hand. Looking at the clip based on the original A.D. 1530: Skull and Crossbones level, it seems to hold a lot of the classic nostalgia of the original title, from the look and feel of the level, attacks, as well as those unforgettable 16-bit tunes that get stuck in your head all day. However, I didn’t see any foot soldiers being thrown off screen! All I can say is that I am excited at the prospect of this release. Maybe it’s time to finally get an Xbox.

COWABUNGA !!!

On another note, why isn’t this being released on the Wii instead?
