retro find of the day…
I have been searching for this piece of nostalgia for a few months now, and this morning it has officially been found. I knew it was somewhere around the house, and I knew that no one would be stupid enough to throw it out. Essentially it is my brothers, however, I still remember collecting a few of the coins myself, so I am claiming some bragging rights.
It is the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Medal Collection! It’s from 1990-ish. So for around 18-19 years old, it isn’t in terribly bad condition. Pretty much you bought the backing board and then collected the coins from the trading cards packs, or was it gum. I can’t remember fully, I was only around 4 or 5 at the time. Anyway, take a look and have a read of the “turtistics” on the back! I think my favourite is on Michelangelo’s profile - Favourite Actor: Chuck Norris! Other honourable mentions:
